It has been an extremely busy first semester at CERN, Geneva. After a very steep learning curve, the research has been involving and exciting. I’ve enjoyed working at such a scientifically significant place, which has a uniquely collaborative and intellectual atmosphere. I look forward to the second semester here.

Outside of work, I have found time to explore Switzerland by bike and train, and more importantly, go skiing a fair few times. Here are some pictures that sum up my experience so far:
