Month two in Geneva and autumn is definitely upon us. The mornings are especially chilly; luckily the trams to CERN are nice and warm.

At CERN I’ve managed to make some interesting histograms with nice peaks on them, though perhaps more interesting are the peaks I’ve been up. One is the so-called “Balcony of Geneva” which has a rather spectacular view over the city and the lake:

Also this month, I walked through a very autumnal woods:

where I found a wok screwed to a tree:

If anyone can enlighten me as to the benefits of attaching woks to trees, I’d be most grateful.
