I’ve been in Switzerland for just over a week now, yet it feels like I’ve always been here. That said, I don’t think I’ll ever get used to just popping over to France to do my food shopping.

It’s been a long first week at CERN learning how to use all of their systems – I’m looking forward to starting some proper Physics on Monday.

Today I took the tram into Geneva to walk along the lakeside and see the sights. It was so warm that I even bought an ice cream!
