Hi! my name is Laura, and am currently going into my third year of studying Law. Over Summer I completed a 2 week programme in at Stockholm University in Transitional Justice and post-conflict resolutions. I was not quite sure what to expect, however the trip by far ended up exceeding my expectations and provided with me an experience I will never forget!

The programme was structured into 3, 2 week sessions, and students were able to choose however many sessions they wanted to attend. The course was structured in a way where we would have 4 seminars a week, on top of pre-recorded lectures that were sent out to us a couple weeks before the programme commenced. As someone who had never studied Public International Law, I was expecting to find the course fairly difficult. However, the lecturers were incredibly helpful and were always prepared to answer any questions we had about the course.

One thing I did not expect at all, was the amount of friends I would make during my time in Stockholm! The day we got there we arranged a meet up outside our accomodation and created a group chat where we would organise days out around Stockholm. We explored many parts of Stockholm such Södermalm, the Abba museum, Ice Bar along with also having days out at the beach where we would watch the sun set. It was truly an experience I will never forget and highly recommend it to anyone!
