So I’m finally back at Southampton, had my first lecture back today and it feels like I almost never left.

Thought I’d update you on what I’ve been doing the past month. Because in Canada their first semester exams are in mid December it meant I had a month of freedom to travel around before coming home.

In that month I went to Calgary, Banff, Vancouver, San Francisco, LA, New York and Boston. If you end up going on a semester abroad and your funds allow it, I can’t tell you how much you should make the most of your time. While everyone else is stuck in Southampton with January exams, you’re pretty much just doing whatever you want.

Every place I visited was incredible, just staying in hostels and living cheap allowed me to go and it’s the best decision I made.

San Francisco was my favourite of all (they statistically have more dogs than babies, amazing) and was just so beautiful with so much to do.

Hope you enjoy the photos!
