After a stressful trio of midterms, I had the pleasure of visiting Hong Kong. It was a most refreshing experience, with the traffic flowing on the correct side and a humid heat perpetuating into the night. The place really has everything you could ask for, from the quiet and peaceful seaside town of Stanley, a giant bronze buddha on a mountain surrounded by forest, and possibly the most beautiful cityscape in the world. The blend of western and eastern culture was wonderful, and it definitely killed any sense of homesickness that was welling up inside of me.
