Hey everyone!
So October has been a super busy and fun month!
It started off with Thanksgiving celebrations, had a couple of mid term exams and then finished with a trip to Montreal and going out for Halloween!
Still having such an amazing time and love learning new things about this country every day that I’m here. It’s crazy to think next month this semester will be over! It’s flown by and I’ll be so sad to say goodbye.
My trip to Montreal was so much fun, if you’re considering a semester abroad I cannot stress enough how much you need to go exploring the country you’re staying in! Montreal is in Quebec and they all use French as their first language there it’s so bizarre to me that there is just a region of Canada that’s French. They can all speak English too (which is handy because my French isn’t up to scratch).
Coming into November again there is lots planned with a couple of assignments chucked inbetween! I’m planning on visiting Tobermory and looking around the national park because it’s meant to be beautiful! We went to Lake Huron a couple of weeks ago and it’s crazy to me that lakes here are so big they look like oceans! Canada is truly beautiful.
After my semester abroad is over I’m planning on going to Banff for a week, it will be so, so cold but it looks stunning I don’t want to miss out on seeing it!
It’s had its cold points but the weather isn’t too bad yet! Today it was 20 degrees I’m wondering if I’ll see any snow in London while I’m here!
