Hi, my name is Ray. I have participated in the summer school in The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). It took me a mouth there but I got a really fantasy and unforgettable studying experience there. The major I chose is “Cultural Psychology and Globalisation”. I was really enjoy it as the professor in this course made the class in a funny, informative and illuminative way. He loved to share his own experiences to us and always encourage us to think and answer his question in class. The knowledge he taught us has hight quality, which inspire me a lot in psychology.
During my stay in Hong Kong, I met a lot of friends there, explored the city with my friends and had a good learning experience in CUHK. We have climbed the mountain to see the whole city on the mountain peak, went to the theme park, hanging out in the city centre and had an unforgettable memory in the university. When I was studied in Hong Kong, I found that people in Hong Kong were different from my home city even it was nearby. So, I have learnt some social skills and the way to talk or make friends with local people and deeply familiar with Hong Kong culture. At the same time, I can also have chance to make some friends from other countries in CUHK. For example, one of my classmates is from USA, during the conversation with him, I learnt a lot about America especially for their culture and their daily life.
What is more, CUHK is a beautiful university which located in the mountain and near the sea. It is far away from the city centre and has lots of greens in the campus, which makes the campus quiet and beautiful. As conclusion, CUHK is a university that I will strongly recommend whatever for exchangeing study or full time study in it.
