So for one of my first trips on exchange i went to the nearby city Bergamo. A small city with two seperate districts; the old upper town (Citta Alta) and the more modern town below. You can get to the upper town by car or by cable car. Once you reach the top you can walk around the narrow streets to the Duomo. It is an incredible structure and I fully recommend visiting as it is beautifully detailed inside and out. The actual town itself does not have very much but I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the upper town experiencing their art for religion.
I had a fairly short visit but it was an incredible visit- i also tried some italian treats!
