Adelaide is a pretty city with a good transport system. There are two big supermarkets to choose from, or the central market if you’re on a low budget. The university has a great policy of recording all the lectures’ audio with PowerPoint slides, making revision really easy. The people in general are very friendly, and will usually be willing to stick about and help you if you need it.

I was on a low budget and couldn’t afford to go up the East Coast like most people seem to, but I managed to save up and get to Central Australia, which was one of the best trips I’ve ever made. All the famous Australian wildlife, like kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, spiders, snakes, and sharks are all easily found in South Australia. There is also plenty of wildlife that you’ve probably never heard of before! In all honestly, you will be broke after coming here to study, but I would say that it is completely worth it!
